Bukayo Saka missed Arsenal’s recent training session, raising concerns about his availability for the upcoming clash with Liverpool in the Premier League.
The winger was sidelined during the Gunners’ 2-0 defeat to AFC Bournemouth last weekend due to a hamstring injury he sustained while with the England squad. As Arsenal prepares to face Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League tonight, Saka’s participation seems unlikely, as he was not seen training with his teammates yesterday at the Sobha Realty Training Centre.
This situation puts Mikel Arteta’s side in a race against time to ensure Saka is fit for their crucial Premier League match against Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
Both teams are vying to break Manchester City’s four-year dominance in the league. Liverpool currently leads the table after a 2-1 victory over Chelsea, holding a four-point advantage over Arsenal.
