Liverpool has reportedly made a substantial offer to acquire Juventus striker Kenan Yildiz, despite an earlier rejection.
The 18-year-old, who is valued at €40 million (£34.4 million), attracted interest from Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund, and RB Leipzig. However, all three clubs were informed that he is not up for sale.
Sporting director Jorg Schmadtke persuaded Liverpool to make the bid, but Juventus promptly rejected it, firmly declaring that Yildiz is unavailable.
A summer transfer could still be possible if a suitable offer arises. However, Liverpool’s immediate focus is on strengthening their defense and midfield.
