Arsenal is monitoring Georgiy Sudakov closely as they consider bringing him into their squad next summer.
The Gunners will have to negotiate with Shakhtar Donetsk again after their unsuccessful bid for Mykhailo Mudryk at the beginning of last year.
Arsenal had been chasing Mudryk for quite a while, but Shakhtar ultimately transferred him to Chelsea, despite indications that he preferred a move to Arsenal. His club directed him towards the Blues instead.
Now, Arsenal is turning its attention to Sudakov, a talented attacking midfielder who has drawn interest from top European teams in recent years.
Although there were expectations for him to leave Donetsk last summer, no club met Shakhtar’s asking price, so Sudakov has stayed with the Ukrainian team.
