Barca : The new Dani Alves arrives for 0€ ! It’s Signed

FC Barcelona has high hopes for their young right-back, Hector Fort, who is under contract until 2026.

At just 20, he is seen as a potential key player in the club’s defense, often compared to the legendary Dani Alves, one of the best full-backs in Barcelona’s history.

Alves, who played for the club from 2008 to 2016, left an indelible mark with his stellar performances, winning 23 titles, including six La Liga championships, four Copa del Rey trophies, three Champions League titles, and a Club World Cup.

He was known for his ability to contribute to the attack as well as his defensive skills, recording 21 goals and 99 assists in 391 appearances.

Barcelona believes Hector Fort has similar potential. Developed at La Masia, Fort possesses great vision and the flexibility to play on either flank of the defense.

His qualities have impressed the club’s officials and the technical staff, led by Hansi Flick, who has noted Fort’s tactical intelligence as a key asset for modern defenders. With Ronald Araujo and Andreas Christensen out injured, Fort is expected to play an important role in the upcoming months.

His contract extension was witnessed by prominent club figures, including president Joan Laporta and sporting director Deco, highlighting the club’s investment in his future.

Barcelona is counting on Fort to become the next Dani Alves and to contribute to the legacy of La Masia while striving for further success in domestic and European competitions.

In summary, by securing Hector Fort’s future, Barcelona is reaffirming its commitment to building a strong foundation for the future, hoping he can establish his own legacy at the club, similar to that of his esteemed predecessor.
