Barcelona legend warns Hansi Flick: “If you don’t bring a title”

Barcelona’s strong start to the season can be credited to several factors coming together effectively.

The recent managerial change and the new tactics introduced by coach Hansi Flick, coupled with the players’ confidence, have significantly contributed to the team’s revival.

The players deserve considerable recognition for entering the season in great shape and with a strong determination to succeed.

In a recent interview, Barcelona legend Rivaldo discussed the team’s impressive beginning, Flick’s influence, and the emergence of Lamine Yamal.

Praise for Yamal

Rivaldo commended Lamine Yamal, the young talent who has drawn widespread attention for his performances on the right wing.

“He’s a fantastic player. I admire his confidence at such a young age. He already operates at an exceptionally high level. I believe he’s on par with Mbappé and Vinicius.”

Rivaldo emphasized Yamal’s potential and the promise of even greater accomplishments ahead.

“With his character, he still has a lot to reveal. He’s destined for great things.”

The Brazilian legend also referred to Yamal as a ‘differential’ player for the future.

“You see Yamal enjoying the game. He loves soccer. Having already won the Euro Cup, he stands out as a unique talent for what’s to come. I’m convinced of that.”

On Barcelona’s strong start and Hansi Flick

Turning to Barcelona’s impressive start and Hansi Flick’s initial success, Rivaldo noted:

“For major clubs like Barça, results are everything. Flick’s team is performing exceptionally well, but there’s still a long season ahead.”

“There’s a lot of Champions League, La Liga, and the Cup still to play. I would advise caution and to wait until the end of the season,” he added.

Rivaldo also offered advice to the current manager based on his own experiences:

“At Barça, success is measured by reaching finals and winning trophies. If titles aren’t brought home, the fans and media will question your effectiveness.”

“However, I see a different Barça compared to last season, and I believe they have what it takes to win significant titles. But we’ll have to wait to see,” he concluded.
