BREAKING NEWS: Chelsea Maresca is urging the club to sign a €100 million player from Bundesliga giants as a replacement for Sancho. He stated, “I watched him play against Real Madrid yesterday, and he really caught my eye. We need to bring him to Chelsea urgently. He’s a superior player compared to Sancho, and I want him to step in right away. His influence is clear, and he’s precisely what we’ve been lacking. We can’t delay—he’s the player who can elevate our team.”

Chelsea is reportedly tracking Borussia Dortmund’s young winger Jamie Gittens, who has attracted attention from several top European clubs due to his impressive performances.

The 20-year-old Englishman, primarily a left winger, is seen as a valuable target for teams looking to enhance their attacking options, including Chelsea.

Since Clearlake Capital took over in 2022, Chelsea has prioritized signing some of the world’s best young talents. According to Bild, both Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have expressed interest in Gittens, with scouts from both clubs regularly attending Dortmund matches. Liverpool is also said to be monitoring the promising winger.

Gittens’ Market Value and Contract Status

Jamie Gittens is currently valued at €35 million by Transfermarkt, but Dortmund reportedly places his worth closer to €100 million.

With a contract extending until the summer of 2028, Dortmund is in a strong position in any transfer negotiations, allowing them to demand a substantial fee for Gittens.

Although Gittens is not yet a guaranteed starter for Dortmund, he has displayed his potential this season, contributing five goals and three assists in 10 appearances across all competitions.

His latest goal came during a Champions League match against Real Madrid on October 22, where he scored in a 5-2 defeat.

Mudryk’s Challenges at Chelsea

In other news, Shakhtar Donetsk’s general director, Sergiy Palkin, has commented on Mykhailo Mudryk’s struggles at Chelsea, suggesting that the club hasn’t fully utilized the Ukrainian winger’s talents.

Mudryk joined Chelsea in 2023 but has yet to make a significant impact. In an interview with GOAL, Palkin compared the situation to owning a Ferrari without knowing how to drive it, stating, “You don’t need a Ferrari if you don’t know how to drive it. A normal car will do.”

Palkin remains confident that Mudryk will eventually shine, emphasizing his capability to make a difference, as evidenced by his performances for the Ukrainian national team.

Since arriving at Chelsea, Mudryk has recorded seven goals and seven assists in 66 appearances, compared to 12 goals and 17 assists in 44 appearances with Shakhtar.

Outlook for Gittens

The interest in Gittens from multiple Premier League clubs hints at a potential big-money move in the near future. Dortmund’s high valuation indicates that any club interested in signing him will need to invest significantly.

Whether Chelsea, Tottenham, or Liverpool will meet Dortmund’s asking price remains uncertain, but Gittens’ rising profile and performances could make him one of the most coveted young talents in European football.
