Chelsea and Napoli Initiate Discussions for a Swap Deal Involving Osimhen and Lukaku, Establishing Terms.

Chelsea and Napoli have reportedly started negotiations for a potential swap deal involving strikers Romelu Lukaku and Victor Osimhen. Both players are looking to leave their current clubs.

Despite being under contract until 2026, Osimhen is set to depart Estadio Diego Armando Maradona this summer due to a gentleman’s agreement allowing his exit.

Lukaku’s second signing at Chelsea has been disappointing, and after spending two seasons on loan at Inter Milan and AS Roma, the club is eager to part ways with him.

According to The Athletic, the two clubs have revisited the idea of a swap deal, having initially dismissed it earlier in the summer.

Scooper Media reported that PSG cooled their interest in Victor Osimhen despite reaching an agreement on personal terms for a five-year contract worth €14 million per year.

The French club engaged in talks with Napoli and was willing to include Kang-In Lee in the deal. However, manager Luis Enrique was not convinced about the striker, leading to PSG stepping back from the negotiations.
