Hansi Flick has reportedly requested that Barcelona sign Manchester United winger Marcus Rashford after failing to land Nico Williams from Athletic Club.
Flick is looking for a left winger who can score and dribble, initially focusing on Williams after his strong performances in Spain’s Euro 2024 victory. However, Athletic Club appears unwilling to sell their star player this summer.

With Williams off the table, Barcelona is considering alternatives like Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman and, unexpectedly, Rashford. GOL Sport journalist Albert Fernandez claims Flick has specifically asked for the English winger.
Rashford, 26, had a tough season last year, scoring only eight goals and providing six assists across all competitions.
His poor form led to his exclusion from Gareth Southgate’s England squad for Euro 2024. Although he has played in both of Manchester United’s matches this season, his performances remain disappointing.
Barcelona has not yet made a formal offer, and it’s uncertain whether they will pursue the deal before the transfer window closes.
Rashford is expected to play for Manchester United in their upcoming Premier League match against Brighton.
