Despite his status, several teams have expressed interest in him. The Italian newspaper “Corriere dello Sport” reports that Al-Nassr, a leading Saudi Arabian club, has extended a particularly enticing offer.
They are reportedly prepared to offer him a net annual salary of 20 million euros. This substantial proposal might persuade Rabiot to leave Europe for the Saudi Pro League.
However, such a move could affect his chances of being selected for the French national team due to the perceived lower competitive level of the Saudi league compared to European leagues.
Nonetheless, there is a precedent that might affect Rabiot’s decision. The experience of N’Golo Kanté, who also moved to Saudi Arabia, indicates that playing in the Saudi league doesn’t necessarily impede a player’s international career.
